New York Grunge

Theysken's Theory is slowly but surely becoming one of my favourite New York brands.  I loved the AW collection, however I think their SS collection is my favourite.

I'm not always the biggest fan of SS, I always class myself as an AW girl.  But I think this collection is not just timeless but 'seasonless'.

The effortless way the outfits are put together, the slouchy clothing, the jackets, the iridescent trousers... J'adore!

My LFW Favourite looks...

Unfortunately, there were some shows that I didn't get to see this LFW.

These are some of my favourite looks for SS12

Roksanda Ilincic
I absolutely adore this pink!

Burberry

Nobody does a trench quite like Burberry.  Turquoise is my favourite colour, so this jacket is a hit for me and perfect to brighten up the dull English summer.

Christopher Kane

Metallics were a big trend for AW but Christopher Kane has brought them forward into SS giving them a fresh pastel twist.

Erdem

Erdem are probably one of my favourite London designers.  Their SS collection last year was perhaps one of my favourite collections of all time.  I love this contrasting floral combination!

Giles

I think Giles was one of my favourite collections this season so far.  Metallics, Feathers, elegance, cut outs, swans this collection was made for me!

Mulberry

This collection was so quintessentially English.  The rain coat jackets are perfect for our rainy summers and contrasted beautifully with the sheer materials and elegant dresses.

I always find it hard to narrow my choices down, I'm sure I have missed something out which I will no doubt blog about later!

LFW - SS12

So Fashion Week is over here in London and it is already in full swing over in Milan.

It was an amazing week and I got to go to so many shows; Maria Grachvogel, Jaeger, Daks, Ashish, Unconditional, KTZ and James Small to name a few.

I have had more than my fair share of Vitamin Water and Champagne and seen and met some amazing people!

You can see my reviews of the shows at Sheermag.com

There were florals, pastels, colour and patterns galore.

I will show some of my favourite LFW looks in future blogposts.

Here are some photo's of my week...

Pink to make the boys wink...

Daily Telegraph

Harriet Stewart, Junior Fashion Editor of Sunday Times Style.

I absolutely have fallen head over heels for this look! I adore the contrast of the neon pink against the mass grey and the silver shoes score bonus points too.

I need that Jaeger skirt and the grey fur gilet.

I love the all white ensembles, especially with accents of sheer materials, draping and lace. I'm really inspired by the contrast of materials and silhouettes.

I also like the mix of bold colours as well as sorbet shades. Popular colours on the runway seemed to be Orange, Yellow, Mint Green and Pink.

The digital floral print at Preen is a refreshing take on a SS staple.

New York, thank you! You have got me very excited about SS12.

NYFW Review - SS12

My twitter feed has been going crazy for NYFW and I am SO jealous that I have not been there myself.

Here is my first edit of the looks that I love...

There seems to be a lot of sport inspired clothing on the runway this season.

A lot of trends from AW 11 seem to have also made another appearance; collars, bright colours; such as orange.

Seeing these sporty parka jackets on SS12 runway has convinced me to buy one this season, so I did!  You can see it here, thank you ASOS.
